This just in: werehippy is a douche. Sorry to drop in again but yeah, I agree. That was a really lame thing to do. The already pretty inactive game just got worse after that. Also, a note to Aldo/James, you guys got kinda screwed on the time of the year for your game. Don't feel so bad about the inactive players!

We agreed to do it because we would be finished just in time for Christmas. I'm not quite sure if more phallas in D&D is such a good idea, the last few have been plagued by inactivity.

I thought the Lovecraft one was alright, but this one has been pretty bad. I thought it would be more active, especially with the fun theme. I'm scared my phalla won't attract activity now!

I wonder how much of it has to do with the fact that D&D and ODAM's phalla's started at the same time. I know I was far less active than I would have liked. Sadly this is likely the reason that I'm still alive as well.

Sadly this is likely the reason that I'm still alive as well. There's *always* a phalla in Odam. And the inactives I've had didn't play in any other phallas as well. I mean, I don't need 20 Zots running around, as funny as the guy is, most of his posts are useless. The village is killing itself because one person says "hey, it is a bit likely that I'm a good guy, lets kill that guy!" and everyone else is "oh golly, another day! Lets not bother doing anything ourselves and lets just do what you told us to! pinata pinata!" For the village to win the vanillagers need to be actively looking for targets. Regardless of how good and strong the network is, they can't root out every bad guy in a timely fashion.

Oh, I was just saying starting so close hurt the involvement. I know it hurt my activity, since I had more teammates here I let them pick up the slack. It may not be everybody's reason but it was certainly part of mine.
Not a problem with a solution that's easy to implement I fear. Smaller games that insist on the person being in no other games at current might be an answer.
